It is well with my soul.

where to begin? where to begin this blog post?
First of all: GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME. He is listening when it doesn't feel like it. This week at camp was above and BEYOND anything I expected. Watching people seek after God and hear His plan for their life was a beautiful, beautiful thing. Relationships were repaired and rebuilt last week. People were gut-level honest about their walk with God and their worries about the future.
God always comes and touches hearts when we least expect it. So look around. Encourage others. Speak the truth in love. And don't worry too much about what other people think....Life's way too short for that. maybe you have to step out of your comfort zone to encourage or strengthen someone.
Even though it's difficult, DO IT.
People are changed when others care enough to walk with them through joy and pain.

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,

when sorrows like sea billows roll;

whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say,

It is well, it is well with my soul.

One other thing I learned this week: Peace with God and your future is so incredibly important. And once peace like that is found, life is so much more. complete. :)

Much love,
Meegan
